In fact, the most precious treasure of the teaching of the Buddha is Buddhist meditation （śamatha: calm abiding, and vipaśyanā： insight）， that is, dhyāna （Chan） meditation practice. Only when meditation （śamatha, vipaśyanā ）， is practiced can one understand his mind and nature, break his worries, attainBodhi （awakening）， and transcend the cycle of births and deaths. It is easier said than done in terms of meditation practice. If one is not good enough in blessing and virtue,he or she cannot do it. Therefore, the resource of blessing and virtue for meditation is also very important.
